Delusions...

I found this comment on Do I Dazzle You....and felt that I had to share. 

There's been a lot of discussion about are they or aren't they, but the aren't they stuff all come down to a story that was started by x17 and then due primarily to hater AND fan reaction caught hold and hasn't really let got.  Before I continue let's check out what Tracybell has to say....

So...people call me delusional huh? Let's see. To believe me, all one needs to do is not believe a pap story from x17. Without that there's just a drought and a funny pic of rob with their dogs lol. I don't have to make up any stories, claim any special knowledge, troll instagram accounts, Twitter and gossip cop. I'm not the one obsessing with delusions.

 

I love this, because I feel that there are ppl out there that think that I'm delusional for believing that RK are still together, but Tracybell puts this into better perspective than I have.  

First we have a great definition of delusional.  So are Tracybell and I delusional.  I think not.  As I said this whole breakup story was started by a rag.  Their premise was not even believeble and yet the haters and fans jumped on board, when of all rags the ever reliable PEOPLE decided to cash in on the story.

After PEOPLE weighed in we got a pic of Rob with the dogs with a bunch of shit in the back of his truck and a lot of ppl just put up their arms in defeat (some in joy) and said that's it!  

It's official, they've broken up it's obvious that he's moved out.

But I dare you to ask yourself whether you are fan or hater.  IF there had been no breakup story prior to this picture what would you have thought?  Would you have come on tumblr and twitter or blogspot and determined that RK were no more?  Or was that story plus the picture what did it for you?

If we hadn't had the story would you believe after a little more than a month that RK were not together just because we've had a draught?  When have RK EVER done what we want them to do?  

So am I delusional for believing their still together after 4+ years of photo evidence, plus the hints, "my boyfriend's english" "my fucking boyfriend did this movie" "it's so obvious" not to mention fucking Cannes 2012.

Or could it be that some people have caved to the delusions presented to them for whatever your reasons?  I have tumblr friends that believe that they are not together, many are just pessimistic by nature and feel that they will be disappointed if indeed it were to be true {that they are splitsville}.  I say, why be disappointed now when you don't have to be.  

There may come a day when RK are no more.  As I've said over and over again they are human and this isn't a fucking fairy tale; it is real life.  But if I've learned nothing while being part of this crazy fandom it's that these stories NEVER stop!  Once we get the proof we need that they are indeed together, we might get a few months of Rinse/aka happy back together, but the rags will start the Wash cycle as soon as they can in order to keep the money flowing.  They always do and for those that believe it now and then we get the proof it's not true what are you going to do when this happens again?  Are you going to get depressed again and disappointed again just for it to not be true AGAIN?  When do you decide to get off the roller coaster?

Sorry, I've said I'm not trying to convince ppl to my way of thinking and I realize that I'm doing just that.  So I'll stop.  We are all free to believe as we will, but I will continue to believe in RK until proven otherwise.  And a story started by x17, and a drought of RK pics does not constitute proof in my boat!
